Charles C. Cohen
Mr. Cohen is a founder and the Chairman of the Pittsburgh law firm of
Cohen & Grigsby, P.C.
He is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he taught securities regulation for 22 years and currently teaches a seminar entitled "Enterprise Organization and Finance." In private practice for over 32 years, Mr. Cohen has gained extensive experience in planning, negotiating and documenting public and private capital formation transactions and business combination transactions. He has also devoted considerable time to serve as a director of public and private for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations. Mr. Cohen currently serves as a Director on the Boards of DQE, Inc., Giant Eagle, Eat 'n Park, Industrial Scientific, Robroy Industries, Precision Therapeutics, Preservation Technologies, The Institute for Transfusion Medicine and is Chairman of Jewish Healthcare Foundation. He is also an active arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, as well as a member of The American Law Institute and the American Bar Association. Mr. Cohen received his J.D. degree with distinction from the University of Michigan Law School in 1965 and his undergraduate degree with distinction from Dartmouth College in 1962.
