Eric A.Wissinger

Co-Founder and Managing Director

At CCG, Mr. Wissinger is involved in a range of activities relating to investment opportunities, including network development, deal flow, due diligence and transaction structuring. He also leads the firm’s efforts in banking and limited partner relationships. Mr. Wissinger has worked with a variety of companies involving an array of valuation engagements and investment banking assignments. In co-founding CCG, Mr. Wissinger brought a significant level of expertise in the areas of valuation, financial due diligence, and mergers and acquisition consulting.

Experience

Mr. Wissinger’s prior experience includes being a Managing Director at Strategic Advisors, a middle-market investment banking firm. In this role, he represented privately held companies, private equity funds and publicly held companies in exploring or considering a sale, acquisition, management buyout, expansion, restructuring, recapitalization or wealth transfer. 

In addition, Mr. Wissinger was a Manager Director and head of the Pittsburgh office of Valuation Research Corporation, an international valuation firm providing a full range of services to national and multinational corporations, private equity firms, attorneys, not-for-profit institutions, fiduciaries and individuals.

Mr. Wissinger also served Arthur Andersen, LLP, as a Senior Manager in the Economic and Financial Consulting Group. In this role, Mr. Wissinger served primarily a middle market clientele, a significant portion of which operated in the manufacturing industry. In addition to his responsibilities associated with the Economic and Financial Consulting Group, Mr. Wissinger assisted clients in a variety of corporate finance advisory roles, primarily for acquisitions or divestitures involving companies with an enterprise value of $25 million and below.

Prior to joining Arthur Andersen, Mr. Wissinger was the Director of the Business Valuation and Litigation Services Group of Mark I. Wolk and Associates, P.C., located in Pittsburgh. In addition, Mr. Wissinger previously served as Vice President of Wolk Valuation Consultants, Inc., a boutique business valuation and mergers and acquisition consulting firm located in New York City. Mr. Wissinger has provided valuation and management consulting services, as well as deal structure and negotiation assistance, to small and mid-sized businesses in a wide variety of industries (including manufacturing, retail, high technology, service, and distribution) throughout Western Pennsylvania and surrounding markets. Over his professional career, Mr. Wissinger has provided valuation and other financial consulting services to over 300 businesses, and has developed extensive personal and business relationships with the owners, managers, and advisors of those companies. Mr. Wissinger earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Roanoke College.

Corporate & Community Involvement

Mr. Wissinger has served as an active Director on the Boards of CCG portfolio companies and currently sits on the Boards of McKees Rocks Industrial Enterprises, Inc. and Engineered Plastics Inc. as an independent director. Mr. Wissinger also served on the Board of the St. Margaret Foundation, affiliated with and supporting UPMC St. Margaret’s in Pittsburgh, PA; as a member of the Finance Committee of the Fox Chapel Episcopal Church; as of member of the Philanthropic Event Board of Pressley Ridge, a non-profit organization servicing 1,900 troubled children and their families in foster care services, residential services, community-based services, and education; as a member of the Alumni Council Board of Shady Side Academy; and as a Board Member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
