Randall L.C. Russell

Dr. Russell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ranbar Technology Inc. and Ranbar Electrical Materials, Inc., which manufacture polymers used in the coatings and electrical industries. Formerly Vice President and General Manager of Koppers Company, Inc. and the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1997, Dr. Russell possesses over 30 years of business experience in the chemical industry. He is also a part owner and Vice Chairman of Preservation Technologies, LLP, a firm that has developed a process for de-acidification and preservation of books. He formerly served as a Director on the Boards of The Pittsburgh Regional Alliance, Integra Bank/Pittsburgh (now National City Bank), Forbes Health System, and as Trustee for Allegheny University Medical Center. Most recently, Dr. Russell ended his term as a Director for the Pittsburgh Branch of the Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank. Currently, he serves on the President's Advisory Council of Slippery Rock University, as well as a Director on the Boards of Southwestern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (SPIRC), McCarl's Inc., and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Dr. Russell received his B.A. in Chemistry from Slippery Rock University and an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Pittsburgh.
